COMPETITION “LITHUANIAN BIM PROJECTS 2026”

For the eleventh time, the public institution Skaitmeninė statyba together with the Lithuanian Builders Association (LSA) invites participants to the national competition “Lithuanian BIM Projects 2026” – the most important platform in Lithuania for showcasing digital construction competencies and progress.

The aim of this competition is to identify and evaluate the most advanced practices implemented by Lithuanian companies in applying Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies and methodologies across design, construction, and operation processes. This competition is not only about selecting the best projects – it is an indicator of the sector’s maturity and a confirmation of the direction in which the Lithuanian construction market is evolving.

Over the past decade, BIM in Lithuania has evolved from an innovation into a standard. Projects created by Lithuanian architects, engineers, and construction professionals now successfully compete on the international stage, representing the country as a competent, digitally advanced, and innovative state. For many companies, BIM is already an integral part of business strategy – from design to the management of a building's lifecycle.

“The ‘Lithuanian BIM Projects’ competition is a place where true engineering competence and organizational maturity are revealed. Here, companies not only demonstrate their capabilities but also strengthen their reputation among clients, investors, and partners. Participation in the competition can become a significant springboard for new projects and strategic contracts both in Lithuania and abroad,” emphasises LSA President and Chairman of the Competition Jury, Dalius Gedvilas.

Over ten years, nearly 250 applications have been submitted for private and public projects – a solid portfolio of Lithuania’s digital construction achievements, demonstrating consistent sector growth. The 2026 competition is once again open to projects showcasing high‑level BIM implementation, process integration, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real value to the client.
